Leica galleries throughout the world

The first Leica Gallery was opened in Wetzlar in 1976 (now located in Solms), followed by additional galleries in New York, Tokyo, Frankfurt, Istanbul, Vienna and Salzburg. The galleries present pictures taken by international photographers using Leica cameras or which have received an award as part of a Leica cultural project.

LEICA GALLERY IN FRANKFURT

Since 2004, the Leica Gallery in Frankfurt has been showing a diverse program ranging from reportage photography all the way to the artistic work of respected Leica photographers.

GALLERY ISTANBUL

The new Leica Gallery in Turkey opened in February 2007, creating a prestigious location for everything to do with photography, right in the heart of Istanbul.

LEICA GALLERY IN NEW YORK

With more than 90 exhibitions, the Leica Gallery has developed into a leading location for both classic and modern photojournalism in New York.

LEICA GALLERY IN SALZBURG

The exhibition program of the Leica Gallery that opened in Salzburg in March 2008 is centered on fine-art and documentary photography.

LEICA GALLERY IN SOLMS

Visitors and employees at the Leica factory in Solms can view exhibitions in the foyer that change each month and deal with an extremely wide range of themes.

LEICA GALLERY IN TOKYO

The specialist trade outlet Leica Ginza opened by Leica Camera Japan has been continuing the tradition of the Leica Gallery in Tokyo since April 2006 with a photo salon.

LEICA GALLERY IN VIENNA

The Leica gallery in Vienna was opened in 2001 as associate Leica gallery as part of the WestLicht project– Schauplatz für Fotografie.
